Brief
A multi-room audio system for all the family to use. The client also requested a surround sound system in the open-plan living area. Security and lighting were also important aspects to consider. Audio and video throughout their home and lighting were also high up on the agenda. Initially, the client wanted a standard home cinema set-up in the Basement, but this was soon to evolve into something a bit more unusual!
Delivery
We recommended a Sonos multi-room audio system without hesitation. It fulfilled the brief of a cost-effective system that was simple to use. Monitor Audio Controlled Performance in-wall speakers were used for the surround sound system, providing high quality sound in a discreet package.
Lutron lighting control was implemented in the open-plan Ground Floor living area, hallways and stairs. Lighting scenes were programmed for the main living areas of the home, whilst lighting control in the hallways and stairwells makes the life easier by allowing control of these areas from any floor. A video door entry system was recommended to the client, to give them the added security they wanted. In addition, we installed and commissioned a full alarm system, including window and door shock sensors.
